About our Business:
We are a family run real company that relies on referrals from past clients for the majority of our business and until about 2007 our business was almost exclusively made up of Lake Homes. You might say that we were the lake shore experts. Then, something happened... Throughout 2007 it seemed that at almost every listing appointment, the home owners were unable to make their house payments and they were all going through some type of hardship, job loss, illness, you name it. They all needed to sell their homes quickly but there was a problem, they owed more on their homes then they were worth. Now in 2007 we didn't know what to do. We wanted to help but did not know how, so we decided then and there that we were no longer just going to be “the lake shore experts”

Since then we have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours to lean how to best help people in today's stormy real estate market. We have been to every training there is, bought every book on the subject, spent hours reading through government websites, hired attorneys and CPA's to come in to our office and teach us about foreclosures, bankruptcies, tax liabilities, and credit scores...AND we have to say, it's all been worth it. Today over half of our business is in helping people so they never have to go through foreclosure. While other agents who are succeeding in todays market must work for and advocate on behalf of the banks and mortgage lenders we get to help real people and build lasting client relationships.  And we are helping neighborhoods by keeping people in their homes with loan modifaction as well. Our only regret is that we did not lean all we now know sooner.
